May is already a popular vacation month in parts of Germany due to its many holidays. Therefore, today I don't have a business topic for you but rather something else for THINKING BEYOND.
Maybe you have recently packed or unpacked your suitcase. Perhaps you also took the opportunity to do a little inventory of your wardrobe. I’ve done my last inventory some time ago, but I documented it in an infographic. This activity opened my eyes to how sustainable (or not) my consumption habits are in this regard.
Of course, we all know that the clothing industry still has a long way to go in terms of sustainability. However, this knowledge remains abstract, and our own scope of action seems vague. Real need for action can be much more clearly derived when starting with oneself. Those who quantify their own consumption habits – around clothes as well as in other areas – will gain entirely different insights and can set appropriate goals.
Therefore, I conclude this brief vacation edition with a challenge for you: What would your wardrobe infographic look like? Or perhaps your tech infographic? What insights do you gain from your counting and categorizing? What could the ideal state of your wardrobe or tech collection look like? Feel free to use my questions and categories from the illustration below.
I hope you enjoy this little challenge and the insights it brings!
